Brews and BBQ

Brews and BBQ…a little bit of the south in the center of the town. The K’Town Pub is a local favorite you can find on Main Street of Kutztown.  When you walk in you’ll see Kutztown residents enjoying a few drinks while the university students play a competitive game of corn hole on the outside patio. The pub specializes in slow cooked BBQ.  Outback is where the magic is made in their double smoker that holds racks of ribs, pulled pork, brisket and wings.  The pub prides themselves on their award winning BBQ sauces. From their Apple Butter BBQ, a sweet sauce with hints of cinnamon, all the way down the list to Spicy BBQ that includes strong spices like chili powder you are sure to find exactly what you are looking for.  Each main course is perfectly paired with their homemade chips.  You won’t find any fries here, but I promise the chips will satisfy just fine.  Wash all of these delicious choices down with one of their craft beers, either on tap or bottled.  The coolers hold over 90 types of bottled beers along with 20 kegs tapped and ready to serve.  The website says that most beers served in the pub are locally made, such as Saucony Creek which is just a mile and a half down the road.

Every month they host a local brewery who will bring a brew master to teach the customers about their beers and which item of the menu they pair best with.  To attend the event K’

On Friday nights you can get the juicy burgers for just $1…I repeat $1. Just when you thought that was a good deal they have beer specials for just $2 a draft or $5 pitchers.   Don’t miss out on these great deals and the great company that comes along with it.
